I have been learning a lot about FAITH this week!

Hey Family!

WHOOT WHOOT!! I have officially hit my year mark this week! It was an exciting day, and a good time to reflect over the past year. I have come to the conclusion that I would not trade it for the world! I love being a missionary! And I look forward to the next 6 months!

We have been working with Sister P. a lot this week! She was going to be interviewed for baptism yesterday, but the interviewer got sick! We're shooting for next Sunday, though, and we are so excited. Satan has been doing his best to get her down, but she is staying strong. We are so proud of her!

We also had an awesome time teaching Sister E. this week. She is a cute lady from Haiti, and she is absorbing the gospel like a sponge. We luckily have quite the collection of Book of Mormons in random languages in our apartment, so it was no problemo to get her a French one. I love her desire to do what is right, and her love of the Lord!

I have been learning a lot about faith this week. It's amazing to me the complexity of this seemingly simple concept. You just believe, right?? But actually, its applying the belief in your life that's the tricky part. And it's an essential part of faith. If you talk the talk, but don't walk the talk, your faith is not real faith. It really isn't that hard to mentally and verbally believe that Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior, died on the cross for you and paid the price for your sins. However, living the way he commands is the hard part that really counts. When you live what you internally believe, then you have faith.

Thanks for tuning in, see ya next week!
