And that is the beauty of the Iron Rod, aka the Word of God. It is here, and it is real, and if you hold on to it, you won't get lost. I love the scriptures and the answers to prayer I receive!

Wow. Is it already Monday again? Weird....

K. came to church again yesterday!! And our friend H., too! They are both doing so well, and are progressing so much! Please keep them both in your prayers, they really need it.

One of our Member families got in a car accident this week, and they had to get a new hood on the car. So naturally when came for a visit, they took us out to the garage and let us take a sledge hammer to the hood. It was quite stress relieving.

Last PDay Sister K. and I decided to go for a little impromptu hike. And we ended up in the middle of the woods, not on the right path. Or really a path. And to this day, we don't know where we went wrong! It reminded me of the story in the Book of Mormon of the Iron Rod. We started in the right place, we knew where we wanted to go, but we didn't have anything to guide us there. And so we got lost. (And when I mean 'lost', I don't actually mean lost, Mom. We could hear the distant rumble of the nearby freeway the whole time, so we were never too far from civilization) But we didn't end up where we wanted to! It's like that with life. Everyone here chose to come to Earth, so that was a good start. And most people have dreams, hopes, and vision for the future, usually returning to our heavenly home, and that's a good finish. But if you don't have a north star, guiding influence throughout life, it's SO EASY to get lost. There usually is no moment at the fork in the road where you decide, "Yup, I'm going to take this wrong path." It tends to happen little by little, and you think you're doing fine until you finally realize how hopelessly far you are from where you want to be. And that is the beauty of the Iron Rod, aka the Word of God. It is here, and it is real, and if you hold on to it, you won't get lost. I love the scriptures and the answers to prayer I receive!

Have a great week!

Love ya'll!

Sister Ward
