How incredible is it that one man's sacrifice could remove the penalty of every sin (no matter how big or small) or misjudgment or honest mistake I have made and will ever make?

Hey Dear Family!

It has been another fantastic week, as usual! We had a semi-surprise snow storm yesterday-they were predicting 3 inches and we got 8- that's had everything a little crazy the last few days. Luckily  we didn't get stuck inside all day for P-Day, though! One of the less active members here came and picked us up in her 4 wheel drive, and we cruised around town and shoveled people out. I thought that the last snow storm a few weeks ago had me in good shoveling shape, but I am so sore today. But we cleared 7 driveways, so I guess that's not too much of a surprise.

I also got to go on 2 exchanges this week! It was super fun to be able to visit the surrounding areas and get to know the other R.  sister missionaries. I especially loved B. C., V! (That's the other Sister Ward's area. I was with her comp Sister Cook, but next time we are definitely going to arrange it so we're companions for the day!) Back Creek reminds me of West Virginia, it's up in the mountains, and so beautiful!

On Saturday, we did some interesting service this week! We helped an old lady wash her dogs. It confirmed my feeling about the creatures. But the other service activity was a lot more fun! A member was applying for a job at a makeup counter at Macy's, and she needed a makeup model for the interview, so she called us! So I was the model and got my makeup done professionally that day! Being a missionary is kind of like being a mom, you have to be an expert in all sorts of fields.

Roanoke had their Stake Conference this week, and it was really great. Bishop Davies of the Presiding Bishopric was there, and it was the most low-key "there is a general authority here" meeting I've ever been to. Because it was Valentine's Day weekend, he spent like 20 minutes just talking about his courtship with his wife.  I really loved that he spent the rest of the time talking about the Savior and his Atonement. I've also been studying that topic a lot this week, and it is so incredible! It is something I want to never take for granted. How incredible is it that one man's sacrifice could remove the penalty of every sin (no matter how big or small) or misjudgement or honest mistake I have made and will ever make? And to think that that logic holds true for every person who lived, lives, or will live. His sacrifice was truly infinite.

I love you all! Have a good one!
